Yamamoto's Cambio Forma by ayafreya Yamamoto's Cambio Forma by ayafreya

So I'm back with my props making and this time, its a sword again.

I made this tutorial because its my first time to use a wood for the sword. I really thought it was hard using them as blades but its not. Just choose a proper wood that's easy to carve, like balsam and palochina.

Also, its the first time I use resin as an added effect for the flame on the sword. Its really fun using them and I could think a few things on where I can use it.

Note:
This tutorial is based on how I make MY swords. This could simply be a guide to you or a reference. I'm not a professional props maker. I also look up on a few tutorials online so being resourceful is a big factor. I'd also like to suggest that when dealing with chemicals like resin, a big precaution should be done.

Last but not the least, I don't make commissions. IM A LAZY PERSON and I only do these things/props when it caught my attention. OTL So don't ask me to make stuff for you.

edit:

So here's Dru-with the swords:

rubber sheets are available in shoe factories, i think the other term for it is, 'rubber foam' , 'craft foam' ^^;

luminaireeeeee!!! Di pa pla kita DA friend dito, akala ko, nasa F-list na kita.

Ayun, you can get the resin in Polymer Products. It's a hardware store. Check their site www.polymerprod.com

May branch sila sa Pasig, and one at Rotonda Taft Ave.
